Author descriptionFrancis Bergese started reviving the Buck Danny comics at the end of the 1970s, after original illustrator Victor Hubinon died. Jean Charlier, who had co-created the series was impressed by cover illustrations Bergese had done for an aviation magazine and asked him to take over the drawing of the series. Scriptwriter Charlier died in 1989 and, from then on, Bergese wrote the Buck Danny scripts and drew the stories as well. |
