Description

Travelling down the Rhine, Yoko and her friends save a young stranger from drowning. Sensing foul play, the young Japanese girl decides to stay with her new friend Ingrid and investigate the unusual circumstances. Author description

Roger Leloup joined Herge's studio in 1953, where he assisted Herge in drawing Tintin's Adventures. He has also worked with Peyo, creator of the Smurfs. "Yoko Tsuno" debuted in Spirou magazine in 1970. Leloup was awarded the much-coveted Grand Prix de la Jeunesse Sci-Fi in 1990.
