Born in 1959 in the suburbs of Paris, France, AndrE Marois is a writer and runs workshops in schools. Since 1992 he's lived in MontrEal, Canada, and, in addition to being a regular contributor to journals and magazines in QuEbec and France, he writes crime novels for adults and detective stories for children. He is considered one of the masters of the noir genre in QuEbec. Patrick Doyon is an animator and illustrator with a degree in graphic design from the UniversitE du QuEbec A MontrEal. He was nominated for an Academy Award for the animated short film Dimanche, which was inspired by his experiences growing up in Desbiens, Canada. In addition to his film work, Doyon is a book and magazine illustrator who received the Applied Arts Award in illustration and a LUX Award for his editorial illustrations. The Sandwich Thief is his first book. He lives in MontrEal, Canada.
