DescriptionPowerful and moving poems, at once tender and unflinching. Diana Deans met her best friend at boarding school at the age of 12. As their work and family commitments reduced decades later, they anticipated spending more time together, enjoying the good life. But fate had other ideas. In an effort to capture the good times and keep some perspective, Diana kept a diary, from which these poems were written. Author descriptionDiana has lived in Canterbury for most of her life. She started writing poetry in 1989, was an early member of the Airing Cupboard Women Poets group and has read with the Canterbury Poets. This is her first book. |
