 Author descriptionAuthor Nelson Wattie co-edited the Oxford Companion to New Zealand Literature and also undertook a major revision of the Reed Dictionary of New Zealand English. Now a book and theatre reviewer, he writes poetry and works as a freelance translator. He is the international representative of the NZ PEN Centre and a past president of the NZ Poetry Society. Nelson is currently working on a major study of the life and work of Alistair Campbell - which equipped him well to write this introductory biography, released to coincide with the exhibition on Alistair Campbell at Pataka Museum, Porirua. |
